Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: January 2026

Welcome to Water Heater Upland. By accessing or using our website (waterheaterupland.com), booking a service, or engaging with our company in any capacity, you (“the Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or requesting any service from Water Heater Upland (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers.

2. Services

Water Heater Upland provides residential and commercial water heater services, including but not limited to repair, installation, replacement, flushing, maintenance, and emergency response. The scope of any specific service will be agreed upon in writing or verbally before work begins. We reserve the right to refuse service in cases involving safety risks, code violations, or non-payment.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided before service are based on information available at the time of quotation and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary if additional labor, materials, or unforeseen conditions are discovered during service. Any change in scope will be communicated to you for approval before additional work proceeds.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and approved electronic transfers. Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law. Customers are responsible for all reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees, on overdue accounts.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling a non-emergency appointment. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a service fee to cover dispatch and travel costs.

6. Warranties

Water Heater Upland provides a limited workmanship warranty on labor performed, the duration of which is specified on your invoice. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment apply as provided by the original manufacturer; we will assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer policies. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, modifications by third parties, acts of nature, or pre-existing conditions.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide safe access to the work area, accurate information about your property and existing equipment, and timely communication regarding any concerns. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with any HOA, landlord, or local restrictions affecting the work. Any damage caused by undisclosed pre-existing conditions, hidden infrastructure, or inaccurate information is not the responsibility of Water Heater Upland.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Water Heater Upland’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, or property damage beyond our direct workmanship.
